Abstract:

This is the first iteration of a new SIAT colloquium experiment designed to introduce everyone and help create a knowledge network for SIAT faculty and grads. Each faculty member and graduate student is allowed 5 minutes MAXIMUM to concisely describe their research as if they are on an elevator and only have 5 minutes to explain their work to a potential collaborator, mentor, or funder. Costumes are optional for all participants and attendees, and special Halloween treats will be provided.
