SFU Surrey and SIAT Research Colloquium present

This week's Research Colloquium will be an exciting one - the speaker will be Eric Zimmerman. This is an opportunity for all grad students (and faculty) to see a first-rate scholar and game design artist in action. Eric is also one of the most dynamic and engaged presenters you will ever see. As many of you know, he is the co-author of "Rules of Play" and "The Game Studies Reader". You can see more of his work at EricZimmerman.com

This colloquium will be an informal one - we are encouraging grad students (or faculty) to bring questions and issues from their own research or studies, and share them with Eric. The idea is to have a free-ranging general discussion that involves Eric and ourselves in our own key intellectual interests.

This is a rare opportunity - make the most of it. Bring your own practical questions, specific research challenges, and interesting broader intellectual issues and let's run with it!

PS - Eric will also be doing a more formal presentation immediately after the research colloquium to the entire school and SFU Surrey community: including graduate, undergraduate, alumni and friends.
