    • Research tools/techniques from the trenches ** Slides

SIAT faculty and senior grad students will give quick overviews of the real world knowledge tools and processes they use to successfully exist as an academic researcher.

From how we manage, grow, annotate your research references, to how we find out about Call For Papers (CFP), build our research knowledge-base, mind-map, manage our time, our ideas, tools to go from ideas to published papers, ... technology tools have become a part of the tools and techniques that researchers use to organize their time, thoughts, contacts and data. Please join us for an informal discussion of real world user scenarios.
